Join a National Park Ranger for a hike along a scenic ½ mile trail, discussing the natural and cultural connections to the vast Arizona Strip, and highlighting the many different cultures who have called this place home since time immemorial.

Prepare for the elements on this easy hike with 200 feet of elevation gain, some rocky terrain, and direct sun exposure. Bring water, salty snacks, and sun protection. Pipe Spring NM will waive the entrance fee for this event and the hike may last up to 2 hours.

Directions: From Kanab, head south on US 89-A to Fredonia, AZ. In Fredonia, turn west on AZ-389, following signs for Pipe Spring National Monument. Approximately 14 miles from the turn in Fredonia, turn right on N. Pipe Spring Rd, traveling ½ mile past the Kaibab Tu’ee Mart. The National Monument parking lot is on your left. Meet at the Visitor Center and Museum.
